Our first picture of Jack. You can’t really tell how overweight (105lbs) he was in this picture, but you can see how heavily he is panting. He panted like a race horse for the first 3 days we had him. He weighed in at 79lbs today at the vet.

    • I know – we’re pretty proud of him. Now we have to get after Maggie. She was undernourished when we got her and now I think she’s a little over-nourished if you know what I mean.

  21. Great job in getting him in shape!! At his heaviest Sampson was 116 pounds and is now down to 87. Delilah was 105 and is now down to about 72. It’s amazing how much like puppies they act now.

  23. Congratulations, it’s a job slimming down our pups. Cody is a black lab and tends to gain weight easily and those big brown eyes just beg for a treat!!

    • Labs are particularly good at gaining weight. We work pretty hard to keep our guys in shape!
