I think this picture captures the transformation of our sweet Maggie May from a scared, fearful puppy mill breeder mom into the (mostly) confident beauty she is today. What do you think?

  3. You can certainly see the difference and it’s inspiring! I love how much dogs can change – they so readily let go of the past! And having incredible parents has a lot to do with her transformation too!

  6. The difference is striking! Almost wouldn’t recognize her.

  7. Crazy! Mom has a photo of her rescue dog Trine that is just like the first photo of Maggie! She never thought about why she looked that way, but it was fear and all in the very beginning. So nice to see that Maggie is so happy now!

  12. Wonderful. The Before she looks scared, her ears back, mouth open and probably panting, and her eyes anxious. And the after she looks so bright and alert, and with her lovely grey muzzle!

    • Yeah, it’s quite a difference. The slow transformation has been amazing…she still gets anxious and looks like the before picture once in awhile…but more and more she’s the after picture.
