SlimDoggy Togetherness

Jack doesn’t like to share his bed, he usually just gets up and leaves if Maggie climbs in with him, so this is a first, and pretty sweet.

  1. That is very sweet and one big bed to hold both of them. My dogs usually don’t hang out together until Gambler he was raised with his littermate Marie until she was 7 months old so they were always laying together now Gambler has to lay by or on the other dogs and they don’t much like it.

    • Yeah, I think Maggie would love to snuggle, but Jack wants no part of it.

  2. None of us share beds, but Bailie and I got caught sharing the cot on the deck the other day. Our second one broke, so we only have one and we both love it.

  12. That’s so sweet.

Jasper doesn’t mind if Lilah snuggles up next to him, but if Tucker tries it, he gets up and leaves. It’s kind of sad, because Tucker *adores* Jasper, so he always looks sad when Jasper goes.

    Your photo gives me hope.

    • I was totally shocked because he never stays…but maybe this is the start of a new found fondness…usually she is just invisible to him.

  13. sweet, sleepy dogs 🙂

  14. Ace doesn’t like to share his bed either. If a cat tries to cuddle up next to him, he leaves. That’s a nice, big bed Jack has! Looks comfy!

  26. Wow, hopefully that’s a breakthrough for Jack! It sounds as though Maggie would really like to cuddle with him. Beryl will use Frankie as a hot water bottle in the colder weather but he isn’t allowed to snuggle with her. It’s going to be interesting to see what happens this winter now that Asher has joined the family. Neither he or Beryl are snugglers, they both have a ‘no go’ zone of about a foot around them when lying down.

  28. That is so sweet, and so great since you are seeing it for the first time! Sometimes our dogs snuggle, sometimes they want their space. Luke was always snuggling at first, but now he tends to want to stretch out on his own.

  29. This is sweet. Besides sleeping butt to butt on the sofa, I can’t remember the last time any of our dogs have slept together. After the first 5 months of puppyhood, they started sleeping on their own, but always in the same room.

  31. That is so sweet. Jack must have been really, really tired. My late canine sister Lexi used to curl up next to me on my bed. She was a terrier, so I let her do anything she wanted to do!
