Gotcha Day – Part 2

Hi, SlimDoggy here again. Today we got to have Part 2 of our “Gotcha Day” celebration since dad wasn’t sick anymore. We got to go on an outing to the park that has the river, well it’s really more of a stream, but it’s fun cause it’s wet and muddy and smelly! Maggie and I aren’t big water fans, even though we are retrievers, but this time mom came in the water with us, so it was more fun. We got to wade around off leash and chase after some fishes and other critters. Having mom in the water with us was fun.

Maggie got into some mischief though and went across the stream onto the trail on the other side and scampered off into the woods. Momz had to go running after her and bring her back. I didn’t go – I was good and stayed with dad.

We had a lot of fun and then came home and took a nap. We got to have special marrow bones again today since it was ‘Gotcha Day” and dad had steak for dinner, so we got a couple of tastes of that too – it was delish! All in all, it was a pretty good Gotcha Day – Maggie and I are sure glad we were ‘got’ by our momz & dadz.

Enjoy our pictures.
