Did You Say Yogurt Pops? Yum.

Our Tasty Tuesday and “Y” post for today is on Yogurt Pops. Yogurt pops are a favorite treat in the summertime for the dogs and since summer is coming up, we thought we’d share a few of our favorite recipes. Since mom isn’t very creative, hates to cook  is very busy, she usually “borrows” recipes from her blogger friends that are more creative. Here’s a few of our favorites:

From our friend Sugar the Golden Retriever:sgr13423a

From our friend Emma from My GBGV Life:

From our buddy Kolchak the Puggle:

From Life + Dog:

From Two Barking Dogs:

From Food.com:

We even have a video with some instructions:

And finally, if you don’t want to make them, you can buy them:

Do you have a favorite yogurt recipe for your dog? Please share it.

  3. We’ve got some in the freezer now – just waiting for the rain to stop 🙁 and the sun to come out again 🙂 Pretty impressive photos – ours don’t look nearly as pretty and neat BOL. Thanks for the video – great added touch.

  4. Yummmmmmmmmmy! We actually just got a frozen smoothie thing in our bark box, I know the dogs will just love it, and with everybody’s great recipes for frozen doggy yogurt, I know I will be making a bunch this year!!!!

  6. Hilarious! This mom doesn’t like to cook either. It’s why Jones is such a life saver. I just wish Jones made snacks for teenagers.

  8. Ha! I’m also not creative in the kitchen/bad at cooking/dislike cooking (there’s a chain of causation in there somewhere), but these look do-able! The photo of Sugar’s recipe looks human-grade delicious!

  10. I pretty much use everyone else’s recipes too! A lot of times though I’ll just take whatever fruit I have on hand that the dogs can eat, throw it in the food processor and then mix it up with yogurt and freeze it in trays. They’ll eat pretty much anything that way, last time I did cantaloupe and they loved it.

  14. Those are all great recipes. One of these days, I am going to take 10 minutes and make some for the dogs.
