Bravo pet food recallBravo Pet Foods of Manchester, CT is recalling select lots of Bravo Chicken pet foods for dogs and cats due to concerns of the possible presence of Salmonella. This is the fifth recall by Bravo since 2013- there were recalls in March and April 2013, and May and September 2014. Yes, that is right, this is the fifth recall by Bravo over the past 2 years or so. Although we commend the company for acting quickly and announcing these recalls to protect their customers’ pets, it is very concerning that there have been so many recalls in such a short period of time.

 

The Company recalled four products as shown in the table below

The recalled products should not be sold or fed to pets and the affected product should be disposed of in a safe manner (e.g. placed in a bag and disposed in a securely covered trash container).

 

According to Bravo, pet owners should return to the store where they bought the product in order to submit a refund claim by following the instructions below:

Customers should return to the store where they purchased the product and submit the Bravo Recall Claim Form available on the Bravo website http://www.bravopetfoods.com/consumerrecall.html for a full refund or store credit.

  1. I agree with you… that sounds not really good… but at least they act and inform their customers, we mostly are clueless because mostly the recalls are only visible in the stores were you bought your food :o(
