Black & White Sunday 6-9-13
A photo of SlimDoggy’s sister, Maggie May sitting outside the door waiting for her dinner. You can see all the dirty nose prints on the door as this is her standard pre-dinner waiting pose – sitting on the top step, nose against the glass, anxiously waiting for dinner. And this is when she looks most like a Lab since she’s relaxed and her ears are forward instead of back. Quite different from the first few days after we adopted her and she wouldn’t even eat she was so afraid. You’ve come a long way baby!

Nose prints are a good thing π
Well for Pete’s sake, put down the camera and computer and get the poor girl some dinner π She looks quite focused!

Windows *must* have doggy nose prints . . . and little drips of drool just make them even more beautiful. π

So very cute! Yes. Seeing that smile and knowing she is excited to eat is a big difference. I think Daisy and Maggie May have a lot in common. I can see them sitting side by side having a conversation about their experiences…
Maggie May – “Girrrrl! I was so afraid when I got to my forever home that I couldn’t eat.”
Daisy – “You too? I was the same way!”
It’s nice to see Maggie May is doing as well as Daisy. π

I know – when I read your stories about Daisy, I think the same – they have a lot in common.

Nose art is way under-rated! π

Maybe we should start a ‘nose art’ contest…hmmm, a germ of an idea there!

What some dogs have endured in their lives before rescued is heartbreaking. Maggie Mae has come a long way and looks it! What a happy girl.

She has, sometimes I’m amazed she’s the same girl. We’re so proud of her and her big brother Jack for helping her.

Great to hear that she’s come so far! She is definitely waiting for dinner… that open, drooling mouth gives it away ;).
Dirty noseprints? You should see the inside of my car windows!

She seems to be wondering what the hold up is? π Gotta love the noseprints….we have a few of those around here too (maybe more than a few)!

Not much patience around the dinner hour.

Her thoughts – “You’re wasting time taking my picture instead of giving me dinner.” Nose prints tell us what is important.

Does Jack and Maggie May eat outside? Must be a tasty dinner. Happy Black n White Sunday. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar

Maggie eats outside. That was the only place she would eat when we first got her…too afraid/nervous to eat in the house, so we put her outside and she’s just fine…one of those accommodations you make for a fearful dog.

I never thought of thinking that that was “nose art” … LOVE IT!!!

I don’t get much nose art in the house, the car is a different story π Lovely photo of Maggie, she looks so happy, it’s great to see.
